H3’s 9th Annual Open Panel Discussion about Cancer:
Too Young, Too Old, or Just Ignored: Cancer Care Through Every Age
H3: Health. Hope. Healing. proudly presents its 9th Annual Open Panel Discussion on Cancer, an evening dedicated to inspiration, empowerment, and breaking barriers for patients of all ages—especially the young women whose voices are often overlooked.
This year’s theme, “Too Young, Too Old, or Just Ignored: Cancer Care Through Every Age,” focuses on the real stories behind the diagnosis—stories of resilience and the determination to live fully despite life-changing challenges.
Our panel brings together young women who have faced different cancers. From breast cancer to bone cancer, at a time when they should have been building their futures. They will share their journeys: the shock of hearing the word “cancer,” the fight to preserve dreams, the emotional and physical battles, and the victories that prove hope can overcome fear.
These testimonials will show that while cancer can alter a timeline, it cannot define a life. Together, these conversations aim to replace isolation with solidarity, fear with courage, and barriers with breakthroughs.
For young women, a cancer diagnosis can feel like life has stopped before it even started. Our panel will shine a light on their resilience, their challenges, and their victories—from preserving fertility and pursuing dreams to finding mental and emotional strength in the face of uncertainty.
We’ll also address the unique struggles of older patients who battle ageism and deserve quality care at every stage of life. Together, these conversations aim to replace isolation with solidarity, fear with hope, and barriers with solutions.
