About Our Miami-Dade Breast Cancer Non-Profit
H3: Health. Hope. Healing.
H3: Health. Hope. Healing. Inc. began in 2007 as a grassroots Breast Cancer Support Group, created to give women in our community a safe space to discuss diagnoses, treatment options, and cancer-related health issues. In December 2009, the organization formally incorporated as a nonprofit, and in August 2010, it was granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Today, H3 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering patients through education, support, and connection. We provide outstanding lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and podcasts that focus on treatment breakthroughs, prevention, and integrative approaches to overall well-being.
At the core of our mission is the belief that no one should face a cancer diagnosis alone. H3 was created to meet the urgent need for guidance, resources, and emotional support at the moment of diagnosis, while also helping survivors manage the physical and emotional challenges that follow treatment. We encourage patients to advocate for themselves and navigate their journey with clarity and confidence.
Today, H3’s work includes our key initiatives:
- The H3 Pink Ribbon Support Program for newly diagnosed patients
- The Annual Open Panel Discussion on Cancer, featuring leading medical experts
- Healing with Horses, a therapeutic outdoor experience that supports emotional well-being
- Free mobile mammogram services for uninsured women, in collaboration with the City of Miami Beach
- The Qigong Summer Series, promoting physical and emotional balance
- The H3 Pink Ribbon Podcast, expanding access to education and support
- Along with ongoing lectures, workshops, and community support activities
