H3 Beachwalk Health Series

H3: Health. Hope. Healing, with the support of our friend and former Miami Beach Commissioner, Michael Gongora, is launching a monthly health walk on the Miami Beach Beachwalk.

The purpose of the H3 Health Walk is to enhance our activity and social engagement with the community, which is so needed after our COVID seclusion.  H3 is mindful of the ongoing risk for COVID-related illness, so we presently are limiting our in-person indoor events.

We are fortunate that our community provides plentiful outdoor opportunities for the H3 Health Walk, which is a delightful way for cancer survivors and supporters to connect and spend time with each other while getting some exercise and fresh air alongside the beach.

Each month we will take a one-hour round-trip walk along a different part of the Beachwalk. We will meet on the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at a location that will be announced prior to the event, so please follow us on social media. While this event is free, donations are accepted and are greatly appreciated.

Our Dates:

Thursday, July 14 at 6:30pm: From 53rd Street to 73rd Street and back. Parking lot at 5301 Collins Ave.

Thursday, August 11 at 6:30pm: CANCELED

Thursday, September 22 at 6:30pm: CANCELED

Michael Gongora and H3 Director Janinha Piazzetta are cancer survivors, and both are active in the community supporting cancer and broader health-related causes.
