LIAN GONG for Pain-free Living By DASHI

Learn a 3-part system of therapeutic exercise to promote pain-free joints and rehab old injuries. This unique approach blends Chinese Qigong, martial arts and Western Orthopedics to forge a strong and healthy body. When practiced to Chinese music, it becomes a moving meditation.

LIAN GONG in 18 Therapies: Strengthen your body, ease pain, and restore balance with this unique fusion of Traditional Chinese Medicine, martial arts, Chinese yoga, and Western orthopedics. This therapeutic exercise system is designed to prevent soft tissue and joint pain while promoting flexibility and mobility. Practiced to the rhythm of Chinese music, each movement is counted in 8s, creating a flowing, meditative experience.

Part 1 on Saturday, June 14 at 11am:
This 12-minute routine has 18 forms, divided into 3 sections to promote pain-free movement and full range of motion for head and neck, back and spine, and hips and legs.

Part 2 on Saturday, July 19 at 11am:
This 12-minute routine has 18 forms, divided into 3 sections. Parts 1 & 2 focus on improving range of motion of the extremities, and in Part 3, acupressure to specific points and meridians is added for self-treatment.

Part 3 on Saturday, August 23 at 11am:
This 14-minute routine features slow, gentle stretching, synchronized with breath, to strengthen Lung and Heart Qi. This practice helps prevent respiratory and cardiovascular disease, while promoting inner harmony and life-long health.

About Dashi Chu Kocica, AP is an Acupuncture Physician specializing and expert in Asian movement arts and self-healing. Dashi is a China-certified Lian Gong instructor since 2002.

Healing Arts with over 50 years of experience in Qigong, Taiji, and yoga. She teaches internationally and has produced over a dozen Qigong and rejuvenation DVDs. After curing her partial hearing loss at a Qigong hospital in China in 1997, Dashi has dedicated her life to sharing these powerful practices. Her background in Traditional Chinese Medicine, anatomy, and biomechanics informs her unique, energy-based teaching style.
